Margaret River Region

Margaret River Region is in the south of Western Australia.

The region has a stunning natural landscape surrounded by the Indian Ocean, with native heathland, and spectacular beaches. Inland there are pristine, old, mixed eucalypt forests, with the majestic Jarrah, Marri and Karri, unique to the area.

The region is part of the South West International biodiversity hotspot. The hotspot boasts over 150 orchid species and some 2,500 wildflower species alone.

Our apiaries are located inland, on the edge of native forests. The summers can be hot (27C-35C) and winters are cool, but seasons are both are moderated by ocean breezes, softening the extremes.

Foragers Honey acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we live and work on, the Wardandi Noongar people. We respect the native land our bees forage from, and acknowledge the First Nations continuing culture, and the contribution they make to the life of this region.
